At the heart of the SUB 708-AS MK3 is an 18" subwoofer with a 1,400-watt Class-D amplifier. Designed as the ideal complement for 8" or 10" loudspeakers, it provides outstanding performance in any live sound application. Its rugged all-wood cabinet with scratch-resistant polyurea coating makes it built to withstand the demands of high-power applications.
1,400-Watt Amplifier Delivers Plenty of Power
Driving the 18" woofer is a 1,400-watt Class-D amplifier with a built-in active crossover and limiter. The high-power amp provides more than enough juice for live shows and studio work, while the crossover and soft limiter help optimize the frequency response and prevent distortion. Its state-of-the-art transducer with a high-power ceramic magnetic circuit and a powerful Class-D amplifier deliver sound pressure levels up to 133 dB with exceptional headroom. Rear panel controls include volume, EQ, polarity, and crossover frequency selection.
